Why Alt + Shift does not change keyboard layout in Solus

Why Alt + Shift does not change keyboard layout in Solus?  Do I need to enable it in some settings?

Alt + Shift does not work in Solus. You have to use  Super + Space  for switching keyboard layout

the shortcut  can be changed – only not to Alt-Shift, nor to Alt -Capslock for that matter.

$ dconf-editor
Go to /org/gnome/desktop/wm/keybindings/switch-input-source
Set custom value: [‘<Alt>Shift_L’]
