What is Solus?

I was actually searching for a solution to a web design problem and Google brought me here!

Can someone explain Solus to me? Maybe I can take it from there.

Solus is a Linux distribution built from scratch. It uses a forked version of the PiSi package manager, maintained as “eopkg” within Solus, and a custom desktop environment called “Budgie”, developed in-house.

Solus is an operating system that can be used as a Windows replacement and you can install lots of software you can use to design, create or maintain web sites or online applications, and not a web solution per se.

If you can give more details about your problem we can help better. Hope it helps.
