NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 630M driver install (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.48.run)

I’m a beginner, tried install drivers from software center and ended up with blinking cursor. Lightdm and history rollback did not give the answer.. So I reinstalled from scratch.. I found the driver from Nvidia site but its in .run file.. It sees that I have to run it as a root file, I’m beginner and near the meltdown..
I have asus n53sm i7 for gaming purpose..

Please find a moment from your perfect day and help me to have a same..

Seems like there is no option?
I have Installed  Budgie over and over again..  roll back didn’t work for the blinking cursor and after boot manager update when screen reso was 600×800 :O
I heard some rumors about upgoming fix.. I would rather use GForce always then jump between two tifferent options..

Seem like I have found my Budgie  but she does not sing  accord with me jet..

Software Center? Do you mean ‘DoFlicky’?  Just press the super key, type in ‘Hardware Drivers’, and it should come up with a window with the available NVIDIA driver. *Note: Click the ‘also install the 32-Bit driver’ button, it helps in older games*
