Installing mscorefonts in Solus 3 [Solved]

Answered

Hi there, Im having some trouble installing the mscorefonts in Solus 3. Im aware of the 3rd Party Installation Instructions, but  I recieve an error when trying to execute:   sudo eopkg bi –ignore-safety https://raw.githubusercontent.com/solus-project/3rd-party/master/desktop/font/mscorefonts/pspec.xml Error: [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 – Not Found. Is there any other way to install it? I depend on the “times new roman” font for work… Thanks!

Hello ChrisEs,

you can try manually to copy the Windows fonts to the proper directory. Check:

Thanks a million.
I extracted the fonts from a windows7.iso – with p7zip – and it worked.
