Do I really have to remove Solus Software Center in order to reinstall samba?

Hi, When trying to remove SMB, Solous SC is a Dependencie that has to be removed.

I would like to get back to the default smb.confg file. Is there a better way of doing this?

Kind regards

Put your own settings in

/etc/samba/smb.conf
(the file doesn’t exist by default, just create it)

You shouldn’t touch

/usr/share/defaults/samba/smb.conf

The devs are working on making Solus stateless, which means that your config and the default config should always be seperated and you should never have to edit the default conf.

In case you messed the default file up, I uploaded it here.
