Go to and download the right version of Flash Player from Adobe. You’ll need Linux 64-bit, Chrome and the .tar.gz package.

Find the file you just downloaded in your file browser and unpack it. In Nautilus, you can right-click the file and choose Extract here.

Open a Terminal and navigate to the folder you just extracted using the cd command. It’ll be something like:

cd /home/USERNAME/Downloads/flash_player_ppapi_linux.x86_64/

depending upon your setup. (Or you can use Nautilus to open Terminal by right-clicking inside the extracted folder and using the Open in Terminal option.)

There are several files in the folder, but you only need two of them ( and manifest.json).

Now, create the folder where Brave looks for a Flash plugin installation:

sudo mkdir /usr/lib/pepperflashplugin-nonfree/

Then copy the files to that directory:

sudo cp manifest.json /usr/lib/pepperflashplugin-nonfree/

Make sure you enable Flash in Brave.

WARNING: You may have to do this again, if Flash player or Brave is updated. It will not be updated automatically by Solus.
